And here are the tame ladies?
That seems so untrue!
They are far from tame.
These ladies are such a wild shade of orange,
that they seem very fancy and flamboyant.
Still... they are from the tame nursery.

My greenhouse is for tomatoes and basil. That's its only real job... other than providing a place for me to hang my chandelier and set my chair. When the air outside is a chilly 65, its a toasty 85 - 90 F inside. The perfect place to sit and read! I must move my chair out there tomorrow.
Vicky I adore poppies growing in the garden! They are so paperlike! I love the soft orange shade that you show us! I see poppies in bloom here in AZ everywhere!!
ReplyDeleteChilhuly glass art is stunning up close! Do pop back as I have some great pieces to show!
Wow Vicki, you live by the sea and have a green house on a farm.....all of my passions. Thanks for sharing this very dreamy world of yours. I had to laugh when you said chilly 65 but considering where you are ....quite understandable...we acclimatize to our surroundings. Poppies are so happy and yet when I think of them I hear the poem "In Flanders Fields the poppies blow"....Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBy the way Vicky I have been busy working on some digital art for a gallery that may be interested in my work so I haven't had the time to start but this weekend I will have time so I'll send you a quick note in the email tonight to discuss your ideas.

One more thing....star lights and a chandelier in a green house ....ooooh so magical! You are my kind of girl!

I just opened a book, closed my eyes and randomly put my finger on the page...and you get the letter M!
Have fun!
How lovely Vicki...a chandelier in your greenhouse!!! What a perfect spot...especially when you put your chair in there for reading. We used to have Californian Poppies where we used to live...you can always rely on them...Dzintra
